New system on margin requirements to be featured

As from August the 5th, 2010 new night margin requirements are to be applied to CFD futures traded in Broco Trader terminal.

The existing system of margin requirements assumes the necessity to maintain fixed margin throughout the day. Meanwhile all European and American brokers vary margin requirements during day and night time. This system offers more attractive trading conditions for trading futures during day time. Broco group is the first brokerage company in the world willing to feature varying margin requirements system in the Meta Trader 4 platform.

Besides this starting from the 22nd of July, 2010 margin requirements for trading all future contracts during daytime will be decreased. This new feature is introduced to offer traders the possibility to open more positions while having a steady amount of funds deposited. This option is going to be particularly to the interest of intraday traders.

Night margin requirements will be applied during exchange clearing period. During this time margin requirements to support positions which were opened before the clearing period will be increased. Please be informed that in case the amount of available funds is not enough to support increased margin for opened positions, the positions that are creating the most loss will be closed compulsively. Night margin requirements will be decreased to the level of day time margin requirements upon the completion of clearing. No positions may be opened during clearing period.

New service is scheduled to be launched as following

• The night from the 4th to the 5th of August, 2010: the existing system of margin requirements will be used.
• August the 5th, 2010, daytime trading: new system of margin requirements will be effective. Decreased margin level to be required.
• The night from the 5th to the 6th of August, 2010: new system of margin requirements will be effective. Night time margin requirements to be used.
